View Full Version : [TEST SERVER] shader 3.0 make game crash while loading

<p>Hi all,</p><p>Last night, I decided to go on Test Server to give a try to how shader 3.0 have improved regarding to the 64 pages thread "Sharder 3.0".</p><p>The game first load nicely, I went into my options, and checked the box "Shader 3.0".</p><p>I zoned into Sundered Frontier (this is the zone I wanted to see in Sharder 3.0).</p><p>I camped and logged out.</p><p>I restarted my EQ2 test launcher, and it started loading zone ressources very slowly. Then crashed.</p><p>I tried this 3 times in a row, but the result was the same.</p><p>So, early this morning, I decided to go in the preferences and set the game options to default/high performance to try.</p><p>Result still the same: game crashes while loading ressources (slowlyyyyyy) ...</p><p>What should I do now to make it run again with sharder 3.0 ??</p><p>Of course, I got what it takes to run this game (6gb DDR3 RAM, ATI HD 5870 1Gb, Intel Core i5 750)</p><p>Thank you for your help!</p>

<p>Generally speaking, we do not support the test server in technical support since the code is still being tested.  If you're having trouble with the shaders on the test server then you'll probably want to post in the 'in testing' sub forum.  Specifically, there's a thread discussing shader 3.0 here:</p><p><a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?start=960&topic_id=454116" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=454116</a></p>
