I am currently updating the game and am wondering which servers would be good choices for a new player with previous SOE experience. I played Vanguard from launch until December and since that game's population has dwindled so much I am going to give this game a try. I like to adventure, craft and run dungeons. I am making this post while reading server forums to see what is going on in game and such as well as reading up on classes. Any help to an EQ2 noob will be appreciated

I went for the highest pop server which was Crushbone. I figure more people = more chances to find fellow adventurers. So far I have made some great friends and found a guild. Your mileage may very

any mid population server will likely suit your needs. I know on Everfrost there has been a lot of noobies running around here recently, its not uncommon for me to do a "/who all 1 9" at around 9-10am PST and come up with 30+ results and it honistly doesnt take any time at all to get out of that level range, then do another "/who all 10 19" and come up with another 40+ people. and not to uncommon to see people starting groups for the various lowbie dungons. For the low/mid level game while not being as imporntant as it was a few months ago before we started hitting this burst of lowbies, I have found that your best bet is if you have a bit of a proactive approch however and build your own groups instead of trying to find a group on a regular basis. Well anyway, good luck with the game, hopefully you will find that this game keeps you entertained
