Hi there,

I hope to find some help here since at the moment I am very frustrated with Station launcher.

I purchased the all in one Sentinel's fate pack and game installation/dl went smooth via the launcher - Bear in mind I have played EQ2 a while ago and got 2 characters on Runnyeye.

When I started the game I was asked to create a new character and when I saw the US SERVER LIST I realized oops, I haven't changed my region. (I'm Uk based) So I was looking for an option to change your region - the so called EULA pad with the drop down menu. I found the language settings options where I selected the British flag, launcher restarted and then ... It wanted to rescan/reinstall the whole game from scratch. Not only that but I also got a nice error message at thr beginning of the update and it completely stopped working - I checked the folders and it wants to reinstall an EU version of the whole game? (there is a separate GB fodler for it, half way through.)

Now my only option would be to completely uninstall the game and start the station launcher with the eu English settings - or am I wrong ?

Basically I would like to know if there is any other option to change my region and get access to the EU server list via Station Launcher, because at the moment there is no way for me to change it

Ant help/info would be appreciated!

If you've really got the Station Launcher there you should be able to go into the config details for each game it's got on the list and change the installation path there. Set it to the folder you already have the files in and it will just patch over the euro files. However what you may well have is the new Streaming Client and I'm not sure what config options are available in that currently. Either way uninstalling or deleting files you already have is just a big time waster, simply moving the files you already have to the area it's trying to download to should be sufficient. Additionally if you're running Win7 or Vista I strongly recommend you don't install the game under the Program Files folder where windows is almost certainly going to get upset at the constant updates. Move the folder to somewhere like c:games to avoid the worst of that although you may still need to set additional admin rights to run the program depending on your security setup. There are additional posts in the tech forums that give you details on the admin settings and you can also find a link to the Station Launcher if you want it.
