carpenter recipees are really lacking in this expansion ... most of it is all the same stuff but a different color.

there are only a few items that are different and interesting .. i guess the carpenter recipees were a last min. thought. i mean really? 4 of the same chair but different color? same with beds, and couches, etc ? how lame.

Are you serious?

Yes there are some items in multiple colours (geee choice, how novel), but even if you remove those "duplicates" there is still more furniture in just the T9 essentials than in any other level T. Most of the duplicates in colour are in the advanced books.

Carpenter recipes were most definately NOT a last min thought.

While I'm personally not that fond of the eucalypus bedroom sets, decorators have been begging for items in other colours, preferrably colour-coordinated. This expansion gives us those in spades . There is some repetition for sure (how many easels and paintings do we really need? ), but that gives us (a) more recipes to skill up on, and (b) more choice when decorating, and both of those are very good. And there are still many very unique and attractive pieces which have been added. Most of the sumac furniture is beautiful, and even better, uses common wood. The weathered bookcases are to die for. And the stained glass... how many times have we bemoaned the lack of "windows"? Paint pots, maps, so many things I've seen requests for (and requested myself, lol) over the years. Its unfortunate that the OP isn't thrilled with the recipes, but I think overall almost every carpenter I've talked to is extremely happy.

And if you want to know what unhappy with an expansion is, think back to the expansion (EoF?) when carpenters didn't get any advanced recipes at all. T6 advanced recipes for us were added much later.

Not sure what the OP is talking about....

This is the best expansion for carpenters so far, in my opinion. We've never gotten so much, in such great varity before. We have been asking for furniture sets and more colors etc, and with this expansion we got a lot of both. Carpenters are in no way neglected, and personally I'm really happy with the new stuff.

Carpenters got some major love with the plethora of items available in T9. Domino even added a few more last minute during beta due to player requests... so yeah, in no way were carpenters ignored.

I'm very happy with T9 (commons and brellium lamps, at least!).

I dislike the eucalyptus furniture - It's just Mistmoore Castle furniture recolored...but I do like the brellium lamps.

I have only one complaint about the carpenter recipies this time around... My wish for more house plants, garden fodder, and flowers did not come true

I think we got a ton of recipies... lots of coordinating pieces and some serious color!

~ L ~

I'd suggest doing a /feedback if there's any in-game item that catches your eye which you think would make a good recipie Include a /loc, zone info and general description and, if you can, offer a general idea of where it would fit in best in the recipie books. I do this all the time (sorry about the spam, Domino! ). The /feedback DOES get read, so if enough people contribute useful ideas, they could very well implement them

Isk

I'm not thrilled with the over use of easels. I would have rather seen an easel work like the holiday trees do...right click on the item...and then select the painting that you want to display.
