Mage pet threat

<p>this seems to be a problem.</p><p>I have the T9 master mage pet.</p><p>I have Magic Leash 10.</p><p>The pet is a true dps machine, however in raids im not often groupped with a troub. So, the pet has no dehate modifier.</p><p>This means Magic Leash and Elemental Toxcicity are the only tools i have to manage pet threat. Theres not really a problem when groupped with a troub, just without one, its hell.</p><p>Anyone else having problems or anything to suggest?</p>

<p>I've just been casting Magic Leash every time it's up and haven't really had a problem (haven't finished the myth quest yet, though).  A small threat meter for our pet would be ideal.  right now, casting EB is a risk every time you cast it because you have no idea where your pets hate is standing.</p>

<p>Ditto - about no issue with hate on raid, but I am usually with at least a bard or a chanter.</p><p>Elemental Blast - I only cast it far enough into an encounter to be sure tank aggro is solid.  I usually rely on my own aggro meter - if I am at 15-20%, chances are that the pet is also fairly low (unless it's still early in a fight).</p><p>But I agree - having a pet hatemeter attached to the pet window would be a nice addition at this point, now that pets are once again capable of generating worthy ammounts of DPS (and hate).</p>
