<p>So far I have been following the "golden path" and it has lead me to questing in Butcherblock for the last 5 or 6 levels and thus far my equipment has been better than any drops or anything I could buy at the AH. Are there any quests I should go after for special equipment or should I just continue on the Golden Path and everything will be fine. I'm a noob somewhat and this is my first toon.</p><p>Thanks for any advice.</p><p>Wulfgah</p>

<p>The Golden Path is pretty new, so I have no idea what it takes you through.  However, until you can get your epic (level 80) the only quest I can think of that you ought to do is "Stiletto's Orders Intercepted" to get a Manastone.  The quest is level 35.</p><p>I'm going to guess the rest of the Golden Path is just fine, if your gear is staying around the Mastercraft level of quality then soloing should be pretty easy during the level grind.</p>

<p>I personally hate drowning, so when playing any class that doesn't have a water breathing spell, I always do the heroic quest Hadden's earring to get the fishbone earring. It starts with a guy near the docs in Thundering Steppes.</p><p><a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Hadden%27s_Earring" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Hadden%27s_Earring</a></p><p>Also, when I get to the 40's, Everfrost has very nice loot and Lavastorm has a quest sequence with the goblins ending in a weapon that lasts me through the 60's.</p>
