If the Kerras are such great outfitters & the pandas are such great craftsman, why don't they have crafting tables right there like the Quel'Ule Scholars do? Scholars don't have to worry about forgetting portable tables and oops evac (if you have it) and fly/port back again.

Lag is the reason. That's also why they were generous with the newer portable crafting tables. You now get 10 charges and 15 mins per use. It's something only you can see, so it doesn't affect anyone like normal tables would.

Travel time and inconvience also make up a portion of quest development.

Yeah, I know this sounds silly but its true.

I did voice the same complaints during the beta. Since no change was made then (and there were weeks to make changes before the expansion went live) I can safely assume that this was done on purpose.

You can look it up for yourself. Domino has explained this a couple times already, in beta and in this forum.

As well as adding some wood nodes to Kejann Rill (after all there are trees there, so these should be wood nodes too).

The Pandas are the most inconvenient of all the crafting areas and the one that really needs some help. Or else they need to change the harvestine and from wood nodes to metal. After all they have one quest for Fishing nodes so they should change those harvesting quests to nodes that are available and easly accessible. Every other camp you have travel available except the Pandas unless you have character with Evac.

Adding 6 more tables to SF which already has those tables in Paineel so it's a duplicate skin, is going to make the lag worse?
I just grab all quests and do only those that are doable right there. The others i finsih somewhere else and hand them in the next day when grabbing the next stack of missions. It doesnt matter, they give only one quest per day anyways.

The animation causes lag. The crafting tables in Paineel are in niches because of this, so it reduces the amount of lag for others around them. Portable tables are visible only to the one using them, also to not cause lag for anyone around them.

The ones in Quel'ule are because Paineel is a zone away, not in the same zone.

THERE ARE SOLUTIONS if they choose to take them.

Maroger wrote:

THERE ARE SOLUTIONS if they choose to take them.

And there are solutions if you choose to take them as well. Don't put this on the devs. Man up, get some resources, some portable tables and stop whining about it.

Has anyone done the Hua Mein daily today after the game update?

I did it this morning before the game update - it was to harvest wood. The game update notes say that the pandas will now only offer one harvesting quest to be in line with the other factions. . . I'm wondering if they removed the wood one or the fishing one. If it's the wood one then the pandas should be self contained.

As for the crafting tables - I really enjoy the fact that you can either travel - or bring your own. The option is there, people should use them. I've never used the portable tables for anything before so my tinkerer never had a reason to make them. I'm excited now to bring my tinkerer up in level so she can make the higher ones that last longer and have more charges.

They are a TEN shot deal (10 charges on 1 item). They're not even lore. That doesn't matter, though. You'll only need one for your whole faction run.

Of all the quests to get rid of, I believe the fishing one was the best choice. That's the more difficult one to raise.

I think at least one should.
