Drop to character select

<p>Last night I started having problems with being dropped to character select after only being in-game for 30 seconds - 1 minute. I can still run, jump, select objects, and even queue actions on my hotbar, but can't actually interact with anything. This is the only indication of an incoming drop before it happens. After fighting with it last night for about an hour, I finally gave up and went to bed out of self-defense. This morning, I was able to play for about two hours, so I thought maybe the issue had resolved itself, then out of nowhere, I dropped to character select, and since then have not been able to keep any of my characters in-game for more than a minute. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried power cycling my router thinking that might be the problem, but nada.</p><p>I am launching from EQ2 Launcher because I don't have my install discs. I thought maybe that was the issue, so I purchased a digital download this morning so I can actually install on my new computer, but I was under the impression the install would come in my confirmation email, and it didn't, so I'm lost there as well.</p><p>ETA: I forgot to mention that I played all last weekend and several times during the week with no problems at all.</p>

<p>I have the same exact issue.  I got a new CPU yesterday and played no problem and now today....POW!!!!!  exactly like you said...1 -2 min and BANG....done.  i liked the part about self-defense.  i am feeling your pain.  Someone get us an answer please.</p>

<p>Well I am glad it isn't just me... I was getting pretty worried that there was something wrong with my computer. Since it's only a week old, you can understand that I would be very upset if that were the case. LOL</p><p>I feel like I should also mention that I have characters on two different servers and it is happening to all of them. I was hoping it was a server issue at first, but now I don't think it is.</p>

<p>I've been having this problem also. At first I thought it was my wireless adapter.  I'm now plugged directly into the modem. Stopped for a few days and now its started again. Happens randomly could be 10 mins or 30 or  1 hour. Doesn't matter what graphic setting I have it still drops. (yes all my computer software is up to date)</p>

<p>Any word on this??  [Removed for Content].  IT's a brand new CPU all drivers are up to date.  My POS 5 year old CPU didn't have issues with this game why does this one????  Windows 7 issue??</p>
