Def/Parry

<p>I have noticed alot of +def and +parry stats on plate tank gear as well as a ton of adornments that buff it as well. My question is that for raids do mobs still ignore contested avoidance there by making def and parry worthless? Is there a special number we need to hit like say over the mobs +melee stat to make it viable?</p>

<p>Is anyone going to answer this post?  The way I understand, is that Parry is worthless against Epic mobs.  I also have noticed that parry isnt too great period on instance mobs.  So is parry still there or is it ghosting on us?</p>

Pretty sure the consensus is it isn't worth a F word for intercourse!

<p>There is a skill level for defense, parry, and deflection which would make them useful. The problem is that this number is higher than anyone is capable of reasonably attaining.</p>
