I just came back to EQ2 after a few years. I just made an Inquisitor and I have a few questions. I'm not sure how to spend my AA points. I want to be a straight healer. I also don't know what stats are most important. I want to be able to heal in the end game raids/groups. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only stat you really need to worry about is wisdom on your gear. As you get higher in level you want to look for "blue stats" with things like casting speed, reuse speed, crit and + ability modifier. Many of us use the Battle Cleric line in the Inquisitor AA tree, which turns all spells into AAs with the added benefit of the end line increasing crushing skill, lowering power costs of hostile spells and increasing armor effectivness. However, if the absolutely only thing you want to do is heal then you can skip it and stick to the Punishments and Triage (and Detriments, maybe). On the Cleric tree, I would go the "sta" line with melee options just to get to the crit at the bottom, as that effects your heals. The far left old "str" for the end ability Steadfast. Shield Ally in "agi" line and perhaps go down the int line for casting speed and heal bonus.

In shadows and SF, feel free to take all the obvious healing and defensive choices.

Divine Recovery is also something to think about as a healer. It benefits everyone but I (used to) find that it helped me in critical moments to save my groups. Now with most people being twinked out and the game being generally on easy mode I no longer know how helpful that AA ability is. I have to think it can still save your group from time to time and as a healer that is a critical factor in using AA points to get it.
