The main dev properly acknowledged that druids are a "bit " broken several times, and i just read in the main forum that warden are considered are rank 6 healers (while being defensive they should be in the top 3).

In Eq1 druids were far more broken till Plan of Power, i remember that i could barely solo heal in Karmor and that it was super slow, and i quickly ended up as bad damage class offering low back up heals. Friend thatI healed till 45-50 dearly kept me on their list and kep invited me. But i was force to solo a lot, and yes i was 1000 time better at that than other healers.

In Eq2 the druid hate stroke back, for sure we are not really broken : furies and warden if properly played can face as solo healer almost any T8 content (i won't speak for T9, but the hole open zone and the bastion are almost trival even as a 80 healer), but i clearly feel more love for my mystic especially for raids. Tanks that do not know me also have sometimes doubt, and ask me if i m sure that i can heal alone. I understand their issues, assume a long group stun or a huge damage spike, then a pro-active healer is certainly far safer than a druid. I never really had issues to find a group but i really often had to raid with my mystic instead of my warden. I remember troubles to heal some instances, but it was mainly a gear issue.

With the new expansion and the new AAs i don't see the problem as being adressed, my mystic ward are going to be even bigger and she will even get a super big emergency group heal on a 2.5 mn timer. The problem is that with my mystic the tank starts any figth with like 10k hp or more with average gear and no enhancement on the mystic. What do you prefer : to the tank life oscilating from 50 to 100 at each figth or a tank steadily at 100% ?

I wonder if the new serenity and turtle shell will be enough to bring back more confidence, there mat be hope there because people still get surprised when i use it. The path for druids is may be there, we could be master at dealing with AOE and stuns. Our jobs will then be to cure others healers and to protect dps groups.

I also have to point out that almost all our utilities (ring, speed, evac) have been made available to anyone, and this relative loss was not compensated at all.
