View Full Version : Broken AA's:

Poison Mastery (Shadows Tree : Assassin Line : 6th from left) doesn't work - at all. There is no difference in damage from 0 points to 5 points. I assume this has something to do with the change to base poison damage off agility, but I don't know for sure.

Killing Fury (Assassin Tree : Sentinels Fate line : 6th from left) doesn't appear to have any effect on anything what so ever. Also, the description text and the effects text don't mesh. Description claims it is a proc, Effects claim it's a passive 15% bonus under 30% mob health.

And, on the off chance a red name answers this - Could you by some chance explain to me why Spell Reuse is basically candy this expansion while Ability or CA reuse is basicaly nonexistant?

(And by nonexistant I mean 5% ABILITY reuse procs on mage items, nothing so far for scouts or melee tanks -- It's a bit of a kick in the junk that casters can get reuse as an adornment and we can't even get it as a blue stat, especially since they get almost instant recasts on resists and we get full timers on any failed attack. [Yes, casters - I know 'we get auto attack'])

He's right neither of these are working and are both very important.. Please fix!!

SoE screwed up procs and probably more something awful about a week ago. Abilities like frontload and luck of the dirge are not increasing proc rates whatsoever... I'm betting the poison damage is also related to this.

You can add Shadow Step to the list of AA's that don't work 100% correct. Currently Shadow Step is a spell not a CA. I don't know how all the new mechanic's work and if this causes it to do the same or less damage then it should. You can use Penda and Kendis as an easy way to get proof Shadow Step is currently a spell.

All I know is on the Penda / Kendis fights each uses a specific damage shield through out the fights. When Penda's is up it causes retrobution damage to anyone that casts a spell at him. When Kendis's is up it does the same for combat abilities. Example use Assassinate on Kendis with his shield up and you will kill yourself. Use it or any other CA on Penda with shield up nothing happens to you. Use Shadow Step on Penda and you get retrobution damage. Therefor the game considers it a spell not a CA.

Yeah he's right I think it's considering it a spell same thing happened in palace to me..

I just hope they get to fixing all these very annoying bugs soon. The customer base will not put up with this forever.

Be nice if they'd even admit to knowing these AA's are all broken. I get the feeling the developers are ALL scrambling to fix the BG screwups, though.

Oh, awesome.

Enhance: Hemotoxin Poison no longer has ANY effect either.

Not only that assassinate has been doing a lot less dmg in PVP since SF, almost half of what it was, i dunno if it was intended or not but no such info. was given.

In majdul arena its doing the dmg its supposed to do , well within range

We've got all of the AA issues (I hope) fixed locally and they should be moving to live servers shortly.

The + to base damage component isn't working.

Seems like killing fury is still broken to me. I tried about 10 dummies and never saw it do anything when the dummy was under 30%.

Can you let us know if its working of if its 5 points wasted Xelgad?

Same thing Killing Fury isn't working not sure if it's some sort of temp buff we're supposed to get or it just adds damage but I just tested on like 20 dummies and nothing..

Isn't it supposed to always add 15% when mob is at 30% or lower?

Killing Fury (and other AAs of similar sorts) does not show in your spells or auto-attack when you mouse over them. It will simply increase your damage when you smack a monster when it meets the health requirements. An ability that always does the same damage (which can be modified) would make this easier to see.

Just took a look at it on live servers - it looks to be functioning properly.

Thanks for the reply!~

yes thanks for reply.. oh and just to clarify what was actually fixed today..

1. frontload is fixed and doubling ALL proc chances now correct? cause when I mouse over my pvp chest it says 2.0 times a min with frontload off and on..

2. poison mastery is not adding the 15% more poison damage and enhanced hemo is shorter duration?

3. Killing fury is working finally and is giving the 30% on all damage below 15% hp automatically without giving us a buff or anything..

4. Shadow step was changed to a combat art? Or is it still considered a spell? (we're about to do palace again so I can try it out I guess on the name that has damage shield)

thanks!

Your chest proc is probably not modifiable, my avatar one isn't.

Everything else works as far as I can tell, the hemo AA and poison mastery AA were working for me.

Everything we knew was broken yesterday is fixed today. Not guaranteeing anything else, though.

And yes, Killing Fury does work.

Death Mark is a spell, so if SS acts like a spell and is a spell, I'm fine with it.

From the description I got the impression that when the mobs HP < stated amount than you have a chance at procing a buff every time you hit it. Is it actually just that you will always do more damage when hitting it below than %? In that case it might actually be worth taking.
