I entered battlegrounds, fought a bit, died. Revived, but after revive I could not moce, use any spells, log out, use any chat channels.

I made a petition and got a GM to move me out to the zone and server I came from.

BUT I was totally naked, had no gear, bags, and also the bank was wiped, as was a few AA and 50% of a level.

Now the GMs seem to have a weekend off so I am stuck with a naked character and I have gotten no response from petitions. I am very interested in seeing how well they can restore my character.

So a big warning to anyone who wants to try battlegrounds, don't do it before anythign important or in the start of an expected gaming session, you might end naked and bored

Very unprofessional and apalling customer service when new game features that can affect normal gameplay is introduced =(

The same thing happened to me. In my situation I tried BG and got stuck just as you described, except I didn't actually get to play cuz my UI went buggy upon entering the BG zone. When the session ended I was unable to leave like everyone else. A GM got me out and told me all was well and I was good to go. So I tried BG again, this time I was totally stripped upon entering. I was able to move and cast spells, but I had no gear, no weapons, or inventory just as you had happen to you, and when the session ended I was once again stuck in that dead BG zone. Another GM got me out but my toon was still totally naked once he was free. I am going on day 3 of this saga and while I am getting responses to my inquiries, the answers are the same each time. I keep being told that my case has been escalated and is in the hands of SOE management and the developers, and that they are working as diligently as possible to correct this problem and restore my toon. Though, as I said, this is now day 3 and nothing has changed. I totally agree that this is absolutely apalling and reprehensible. Though, what I think is worse, is the response of fellow gamers. Even after telling my story in world chat on my server, the responses were limited to "man that sucks" and "glad it didn't happen to me." So much for compassion I guess. As for the powers that be behind this game, specifically the issues with this expansion - I purchased this expansion and stuck with the game specifically because of the coming of BG. In a situation where it appears that the customer base was, against their will and without their knowledge, used to test a product that wasn't ready to launch is incredibly unprofessional, as are the responses response times to the problems and issues that have arisen from such a practice. As much as I hate to say it, this may very well mark the end of my EQ days.

I got the same form response, they've elevated this to developers etc.

My problem is now entering the second day, and my guess is that Bgnjug and I will have to wait til monday when they drag the "developers" to work, which means I can play on tuesday if I am lucky.

With the 2 days delayed transfer of keys from SOE to the vendor I bought SF from, and with this added 4 days minimum delay I've lost a week of play time
