According to the new changes, Wis is suppose to be our primary stat. It is suppose to help us heal, but how exactly? Does it add to our heal amounts? I'm assuming it doesn't give us crit since Int is suppose to give us crit. And speaking of that, I've heard rumors that with high Int, we can get 10% crit... anyone know how much Int we need to hit that? Also, how do the other stats effect us?

Also, does anyone know what the math is for resists? From what I've seen with 81-90 gear drops, there are no resists on much of it... quite scary really since the heroic zones can hit you with some pretty nasty AOEs and with no resists on drops (Including fabled drops from heroic zones) I can't see how people will get through them without having multiple healers.

And don't even get me started with the no resists on raid drops....

I think Timetravelling included wisdom in the general assessment by accident. Wisdom doesn't actually increase our healing at all. It will increase our melee and spell damage, however (whereas pre-change STR and INT did that). It'd be nice if wisdom provided a small bonus to our healing ability the higher it is, but that's not the way it is currently.

One exception: If you happen to be a Mystic with a Mythical, 30% of your Wisdom is added as a ward ability modifier.

As far as crit goes, the OP may be thinking about critical mitigation and not critical chance. I know shortly after crit mit was put into the game, there was a chance to get some additional from int (priests and mages), but I'm not certain what the percentage or calculations are for this. Neither wis nor int affect critical chance though. Wisdom is a priests primary stat because it is the source of the power pool. But now it also affects dps.

The resists overall are potentially a problem, though a recent update added resists to instanced legendary and fabled gear, so it might not be a big deal anymore. It is possible to get added resists from addornments, but having to use a mana for 900 of a single resist hurts the bank account, especially when you've gotta think about buying new masters.
