Well, ok, some of the multiple posts are mine

At the least, we should get a post from Kiara saying there are already multiple posts, let's keep things in one thread.

I joke! I joke! Don't ban me, Kiara!

Posted this in another thread, figured I'd post it here, too.

"Lots of posts about this...a lot of them mine lol I was pulling my hair out over this, and I don't have a lot of hair to pull out to begin with. I finally came across this fix posted by a TSR in another thread:

1. Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.5. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".6. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator"

That got me up and running. I knew from other posts that I needed to right click the EQII icon and "Run as Administrator". I didn't know that I also had to do steps 2 thru' 5 - and feeling pretty silly now. This should work for Vista and Windows 7 (I have Win 7).

Whoever that TSR was that posted that fix I love you!

That fix needs to be copy/pasted and stickied.

At the least, we should have just one thread for this problem "
