I am in the process of adding/upgrading adornments on my Ranger. I am lvl 83 and am using mostly Fabled T8 gear (for weapons and armour anyway). I really like the new adornments but I'm not sure about which ones to get. I have a 400 adorner (thankfully) so I can make whatever I want. I am not maxed out on anything yet and from memory my current stats are approx. Crit 75%, Double Attack 45%, DPS 50%, Attack Speed - no idea

I am adding adornments for DPS only and trying to choose between the following. It seems like casting speed isn't that great because I would just be waitinig around more once I cast everything the first time. I am currently working on Reuse Speed with my AAs. Any opinions?

Melee Weapon

1.5% Crit Bonus 1.5% Potency (i don't understand this yet)

Feet

4.1% Attack Speed 1.1% Reuse Speed

Forearms

4.2% Crit Chance (assuming this one) 4.2% Double Attack 4.2% Ability Casting Speed

Waist

4.1% Attack Speed 7% DPS 1.1% Reuse Speed

Shoulders

4.1% Attack Speed (assuming this one) +43 Ability Modifier

Wrist

4.2% Ability Casting Speed +18 Ranged

am pretty sure you can ditch the reuse ones from the list as they say spell reuse, not ability reuse so won't do anything for you.

as far as potency, it is the same as combat art base damage. Double attack is going to be a joke to get up, and you will probably quickly get to the point where IA is a wasted buff for you as just having a chanter with myth/myth buff in the group will cap you. Attack speed is similar as with just a haste item and self buff you should be around 80, and the same illy buff will put you dang near the cap. plain old crit, and DPS are a bit more difficult to come by, but also not by much. If it were me, I would say concentrate on crit bonus and potency, take some casting speed ones where you can (although there are a number of our CAs that have a hard cap as to how fast they can cast (shower, stream, selection for example).

A lot of this also depends on what buffs you usually get.

Oh and don't forget AGI, adding more of it over 1200 is actually very benificial in terms of damage increase
