Whats the difference?

<p>Hey all so I am coming back to the game after being gone for a long while, and I thought I would ask you guys and post the same thing at the Inquisitor's side to see what is the difference between these two classes?</p><p>I have heard soloing is rough as either of them, unless you do your AAs correctly for soloing, which I have no idea what to do heh.  Thats not the point though, I was just wondering what the difference between the two classes is?</p>

<p>Templars are set-up a little bit more defensively and Inquisitor is a bit more offensive. Soloing as a Templar is ok, but with the new expansions stat changes and crit consolidation, Inquis can do some pretty ridiculous damage in T9 but it would be pretty difficult for them to outheal a Templar all things equal.</p>

<p>/agree</p><p>I can do some pretty respectable solo DPS with an AA spec that's more DPS-centric (2-3k, spikes higher) and I still retain the majority of the HP/mitigation features that define the templar. I'm using the same gear that I use for raid healing. I'm sure that an inq can out-DPS me easily, but I can burn down an orange con ^^ heroic without ever going into the red, and that's good enough for me at the moment.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
