Game freezes for a few seconds when friends log on

<p>I'm not sure if this issue is due to the new expansion because I took about a month off before SF was released.</p><p>Every time a friend from my friends list logs on or off, my game freezes for several seconds.  When a friend changes to an alt, the game will freeze when they /camp their first character, and then again when they log on with the other.  It happens every time, even in non-SF zones.Is there a fix for this, or is there a way to shut off the notification when your friends log in?  Every time it happens, I am tempted to just remove all friends from my friends list.</p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>Gah!!!  After yesterday's patch, the problem came back <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" /></p><p>Is there a way to shut off the notification when a friend logs on?</p>
