New Collections

<p>Has anyone located any new red shiny collections?  I've had my earring on, but I have yet to come across anything.</p><p>Also has anyone found any new collections added to old zones? </p><p>Thank you in advance.</p>

<p>Karbonite crystals are the collection pieces you get when you complete a Sundered Frontier or Stonebrunt Highlands collection.  I haven't heard what the rewards are yet, but they definitely aren't related to the red tradeskill shinies.  To be honest, I've neglected to make sure my earring is on while I've been running around, but I haven't heard any reports of new red shinies through beta or test chat yet.  I don't recall seeing anything in Niami's overview at EQ2traders either, but there was an awful lot of info crammed in there and I could easily have missed it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure that Domino said that there are no new red shiny collections in this expansion, but that some might be turning up at a later date now things have calmed down.</p>

<p>an earring? ok, that was from 80 lvl crafter quest, "Proof is in the Pudding", if you are in good standing with Baltezid's Watch to start.</p><p>that earring allow you to see "red ?" shineys, but lore restricted, cant stockpiling, those get you some nice house items and 2 new "forges" from sootfoots and blood iron forges for special craftings.</p><p>hope this helps.</p><p>so far, no one knows what is new beyond those SF's collections. only devs knew, well, we will find out sooner and more fun to discover.</p>

The charm is level 90, and has nice stats. I'm work at the moment so can't give any more details on the one I picked.</p><p>I assume the Sundered Frontier collection will give an item as well as another of the 4 piece collectible set. I have no clue where to get the last two items of the collection however, I assume at least one of them will come from collections in The Hole?</p>

<p>Stonebrunt Highlands actually gave a choice between 4 , you have to scroll down ; plus the collection piece.</p>

<p>Yeah both the Sundered Frontier and Stonebrunt collections give a Crystal  for their respective collections.</p><p>The Crystal collections each give the same choice of apparantly 4 charms, I only saw 3. They also both give a Rune for Runes of Fate collection.</p><p>The Runes of Fate is only 4 and Sundered/Stonebrunt give 1 each.</p><p>I have done 2 of the 3 hole collections and they didn't give a collectable.</p><p>So I presume the 12 group instances have the other 2 runes.</p>
