I suddenly got the urge to reactivate my eq/eq2 account but have been unable to. I reset my pw because its been many years since i last played and that seemed to work ok but as soon as i try to go into account settings or anything related to that area i get this error message :

[removed overly large picture -k]

I have tried EVERYTHING i can think of but nothing works. Tried logging in on multiple computers using 3 different web browsers to no avial. I have run out of ideas. I was looking forward to maby playing eq2 agian but this really puts a damper on that idea. my work shedule means im never home when customer support is open and you are open at all on weekends so this seems to be all i can do. I tried sendign an email about 2 days ago i think and got no response so this is my last try.

Have you tried just turning your firewall off? Not saying leave it off, just turn it off long enough to try the login. If it works then the problem is firewall related.

It could also be your router setup. If you are running through a router and can reroute to direct connect to the internet bypassing the router, try that. Again, if it works then you will need to check your router configuration.

it has nothing to do with my router or isp. My gf also has an old account and she was able to log into it just fine. And as i already stated ive tried on multiple computers already with the same result. It is something specifically wrong with my account.

Upper right corner of the forum, Search the Knowledge base, Chat tab. Their hours are monday to friday 10 AM to 7 PM pacific. If you do not live in the pacific time zone you will need to adjust those hours to match what ever time zone you live in. If you get a message about the service being down, they are still closed. At the time of this port it is about 4:04 AM Pacific

If you haven't already, try using Internet Explorer and resetting the security level to default. Please try the following steps:1) Select the 'Tools' menu and then select 'Internet Options'2) Open the 'Security' and choose each 'zone' at the top before selecting 'default level' for each3) Then open the 'General' tab and select 'Delete...' in the 'Browsing History' section.4) Check all of the boxes and then choose 'Delete' in the following window.5) Then close/restart the browser and see if the issue persists. If the problem persists at that point then I would advise contacting our support line through phone or chat so that we can test it on this end. The following link contains our contact information:

http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=10404
