View Full Version : "Complete Collection" Launcher and Account Mgmt failures

<p>two issues:</p><p>#1 the clean install of the Complete Collection on a fully patched Win7 box with only MSOffice and LotRO on it created a link to an out of date Station Launcher.  Brings up a release notes page in a browser with a broken link to download the launcher.  So I came here and downloaded the launcher.  Still nothing, just ran in the background.  I killed it and then downloaded the streaming patcher to get the EQ2 launcher to start.  That worked.</p><p>#2 renewing my sub is impossible.  I am stuck in an endless loop on the "enter payment method" form in subscriptions.  The form never completes -- it keeps asking for credit cards, and I keep entering them until I get the message "card already on file".  I can see the credit cards in "Payment Sources" but I can't apply them.  Awful design.</p><p>So I bought the box, installed cleanly, launcher was broken out of the box, and now your billing auth service won't complete.  Any ideas?  I find it ironic that this is the same experience I seem to have  everytime here guys, starting in "12/13/04" when it seems I first registered</p>

Try a fully patch Internet explorer</p><p>as far as the launcher goes - try uninstalling the old one, downloading a fresh copy from h<a href="http://launcher.station.sony.com/">ttp://launcher.station.sony.com/</a> and installing it. Make sure you set the file locations for the game before you attempt to patch</p>

<p>station launcher was reinstalled with your beta -- it seems to work AFAIK.  I just tried to resubbed so I can't know</p><p>I was using a brand new IE 8 on a Win7 32 box.  It's not the browser -- your auth service never completes, it just spins the same form up and up</p>
