There are quite a few quests you should be able to do again., including Ale Goggles.

Returning features: "Snoogle's Presentation" still has plenty of reward choices."Beers for Brell!" offers 2 new reward choices."Brell's Everlasting Brew" offers 1 new reward choice. "Ale Goggles" offers 1 new reward choice. (A VERY useful one!)

Please let me know if you are having troubles receiving any of these!

Oh, and as for the collection, you will find it very useful to travel the world and visit as many bars and taverns as you can find!

~Kaitheel

Edited to remove my error of listing "Liquid Courage" as a quest. It is, in fact, one of the new reward choices for "Beers for Brell!" -oops!

Can't get Ale Goggles with Test.Kaisha ..

--

Had to camp out of test 'cause they are patching but I'm a wee bit confused on the new Quest .. I *think* it's telling me I need to get snockered an go harvest something. But, I did a quick look-ey lo around Ant using the booze we get for the presentation (didn't think you'd gate 1 quest on another but figured I'd give a go) .. and .. also with just reg. purchased Alcholoic Ale .. can't see anything new and don't know where to head to she doesn't give a hint on that part.

I'm itching to see what the recipe makes from Brell .. *g*

---

Edit Add: I just noticed that we get a email. But, no free beer? We get roses for Eday and a Frostfell Card from McScroogle

More add: ... I *think* I understand what you mean by very important reward item from the Ale googles. I had to create a new character to be able to see the rewards. None of my charcters who did the quest last year can get it again.

Even more add: quote: ""Liquid Courage" offers 1 new reward choice." .. huh? I did the streaking but it didn't give me a quest nor a reward. You guys changed it so that the bottle was given to us by Brell not the ghost anymore.

Solved the riddle, love how the reward looks! Great work.

One problem with the quest. It showed complete and told me to go back to tell the NPC the answer of the riddle long before I even found my first bush, and it didn't change/update at all after I found the last item. The emerald one took long, I don't know how high the percentage is, but I had over 20 or even 30 of some of the other items. I don't know if it is wanted to be so rare.

Her remark about going back and continuing (after I found the first items) was helpful.

Thanks, Kaitheel. that was once again FUN!

Purr~

PS: Could we please get a choice to which city we go when we leave Brell's Bar? Kelethin is really kind of out of the way. Having a choice between the good/evil cities like with the Frostfell wardrobe would be nice.

Added: I'm also not sure if it's wanted that you see the bushes with the >normal< goggles, not requiring the quest reward ones.

Please check to make sure all quests can be repeated by those that have done them in prior years, as most have new rewards available.

I suggest the purple shinies in the Bar of Brell be increased. Currently it appears that only one spawns at a time, and the respawn rate is random. The spawn rate can be slow if only one person is looking for these, and I shudder to consider what it will be like with several people in that small area trying to get them at once. Another option might be to move them out into the general area around each of the portals into the bar. This will spread them over a larger area and having several up at once would become feasible, while also opening several areas for people to find them rather than all trying for the same ones at once and jamming up the bar.

As I have said, it is intended that all of the quests from previous years can be obtained again. There is no need to try to convince me that they should. I already agree. And the fact that "Ale Goggles" was not being offered again was indeed a bug. Thankfully, I just identified the issue and have corrected it on my side.

I will be looking at the collection and the seperate issue that you can use the original Ale Goggles to see the harvestables, next.

~Kaitheel

I did /feedback this, but I will post here as well. For Beers for Brell in the Enchanted Lands - can we please have the Runnyeye scouts sent on vacation? They are so close to the hole in the wall and their aggro range is long enough that my lvl 25 got chased, caught and killed - again. The bats can use some adjustment too, every year I end up with a toon parked by that hole just killing the mobs so my lower level guildies can get through.

Elquinjena, it was not because you entered the docks from the wrong side. It is just that the drink strikes you with a fear. This randomly picks a direction and makes you run. In your case, and mine several times, the direction chosen was not directly down the dock, but instead into the walls or water. It still counts, and as you observed, the quest still progressed. But I wanted to reassure you that it was not due to something that you had specifically done.

~Kaitheel

In regards to Valla's quest ..

Why doesn't it ever change? All it ever says is I must return when I have found the items. It never lets you know that you have found them. I mean i knew what I was looking for and I finally got 1 of the rares but just noticed the quest & helper never updated to show this. Maybe after the 1st item is found maybe the quest should update to the proper names of the items and then update to say it's time to return. *shrug*
