I'm leveling an Inquisitor mostly solo, so I want the best build for soloing(dps) that I can do. Unfortunately, since SF just came out, I lost 100% crit, now I'm stuck as to what I should do for the best soloing capabilities.

I have 21 points in the Inquisitor tree with Battle Cleric taken. I do not own TSO, so I can't use the Shadows tree, but I keep hearing about Litany of Combat and I was wondering if it's worth purchasing TSO now to try and make use of the Shadows Tree. Can I make use of it this early? I am level 27 with level 28 AA's.

Can anyone give me some tips on whats the best solo set up now that SF has released and I can't take 100% crit anymore?

You can't even access Litany of Combat until you've spent at least 60 AA. So for the time being, you've still got a ways to go if you want to grab TSO for the AA options.

I'm really not sure about suggesting a new low level build. I've been busy playing my main that I haven't taken a good look at my Iquisitor alt. If no one else has responded by tomorrow, I'll poke around and throw up some ideas.

1 point for Yaulp

21 points to get Battle Cleric

4-10-10 into Stamina

4-10 into Agility for a modest double attack

By this point you have 60 points, so by all means, sink 10 points into General on the TSO page, then the 5 points you would need for Litany of Combat.

Once you get more points you will want to respec into AA's that better fit your bill as far as what you want to do endgame wise.

However the old "str" line (far left) with Steadfast is still as useful as ever to prevent yourself being interrupted while healing. For example, in case you grab too many mobs or one mob is proving not to be a cake walk. As you don't have TSO or SF, you wouldn't have the heal casting speed necessary to bypass it, at least for a while. So personally, I would sink another 22 points on top of the above (10 Skull Crack, 10 Bolt of Power, not bad for more dps and 2 in Focus) in order to get it.

Thanks for all the replies and the help. Was curious about the end game role, is it possible to be useful to a group at end game and be a fighter/healer? Or will you just be a straight up healer at the end game? Or will people hate you if you try to be a battle cleric?

I've always enjoyed melee healers in MMOs, and unfortunately there's just not enough of them. was curious if the Inquisitor was anything like this.

I forsee that once I get 250 AA, I'll be able to stay in my "dps" spec, and still heal just fine provided we don't come across a ghastly named. The Combative Healing and the recent change to our punishment line and Inquisition means that I can proc enough heals with my gear to take care of everyone while bashing heads. And if things get a bit tough, I still have my fast casting reactives and group heals.

However, in raids, be prepared to take a more traditional healing role. On trash, I don't think anyone will complain if you add some dps, but you are far to valuable to be standing near an epic and hitting its toe.

Lots of great advice here, thanks all I'm also a newish/returning player with a brand new Inq at lvl 17 with 22 AAs. 1 point in Yaulp and 21 for Battle Cleric atm (and I'm enjoying playing him much more than my lvl 20 Mystic with his 48 AAs). As people have already recommended the STA then AGI then STR trees (and Litany of Combat as soon as it's available) I was just wondering if the newly revised Punishments tree is also worth getting (a few people in other threads have suggested it) and when I should be making my way down that tree to get Punishments (before or after the Cleric trees mentioned above)? Much appreciated

After, in my opinion. They fixed it so that the punishments proc more often, and that each time procs a small heal. With the stat changes, my Vengeance may proc 8 times for 800+ damage, and heal me each time. Before, the trigger rate was terrible and the end line was some kind of convoluted hate proc for no reason, so its worth putting points into.
