This morning I discovered all 40 or so items were missing from my Veterans case (items that had been for sale on the broker.) I filed a /petition in game. I do not think my account was hacked because there was plat left sitting in the shared bank, and because I've never given anyone the password to the account.

Later in the day I attempted to check on the /petition via the SOE web site. I couldn't find that the original /petition had been filed. So I attempted to file a new /petition in-game, which was rejected because I had the prior pending /petition. So I tried again to see what the status was in-game.

While in-game I again typed /petition and went to the "Service History" area and clicked on "Questions" which is the area to check on currently pending /petitions. Nothing happened. I then clicked on "Answer Update Notifications". Again nothing happened.

I've checked my account to make sure that SOE has the correct email for this account.

The most recent time I tried to call SOE's alleged customer service department I waited on hold for an hour before giving up without ever speaking to a human being.

This seems to be the only area of SOE that responds to customers in a helpful and timely manner so I'll try here. Please advise how to recover the missing items, and please check to see that the /petition system is working. Thanks.

Upper right hand corner of the forum, then the service history tab then the question highlight. You can enter or review a petition there. Same please you can access the live chat tab and check with CS

Figure 24 to 48 hours for a response given a new expansion being released, I entered a petition concerning a flaw yesterday around 3:30, no response as of yet, but then again I did not expect one. From playing the other popular game - their state response time is 4 to 5 days in some cases.

Thanks Wingrider, I had tried that previously. When I tried it again just now, I was able to find the /petition. Lag in system, I guess. I had tried several times earlier without success.

The reason I think the 40 missing items should be of interest here is that they may indicate a potentially system-wide database problem.

I truly do not think SOE is providing adequate resources to keep EQ2 running properly, but that's a separate discussion.
