When i open the game and start patching i get to the loading part then the connecting part interupts it then a message comes up saying "The Stationlaunchpad is unable to connect to the network at this time. Please try again in a few mintues" I have re-tried it many time monday and i tried it several times today on the expansion launch day and it's doing the same. Though i just got my computer back from a shop to delete viruses on monday is that the reason or are other people having patching problems at the moment too? My brother got on no problem.

I'm having considerable problems as well, but of a different sort.

I installed the game Sunday, successfully downloaded a 4GB+ patch Monday, but I am having unending difficulty with Tuesday's 800MBish patch. Every minute or so it stops and gives me a failure message. It makes progress, but even leaving it patching overnight, it wasn't complete in the morning. I've gotten all the way to the very end of the download, but it gives me an error message.

Here is the error message I keep getting:

"There was a problem moving C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_temp|EverQuest2.exe_delta_8783_303.patched to C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIEverQuest2.exe. Please make sure the game is not running.

Station Launcher will try again after 5 seconds."

The game is not running. I haven't actually launched the game yet. It does indeed keep trying, but it keeps resetting the download to about 5MB.

Any help?

If you are having trouble connecting, it is a good idea to post more info. You can get some ideas on what to post in the *** Read before posting *** thread.

Although on a quick possible fix... The launcher changed a bit with the GU and expansion yesterady, your AV program or firewall may no longer recognize it. Try removing the exceptions and then add them again if you have done so in the past

Hit run as Administrator. That got rid of that patching problem for me and my pals.

What a weird glitch...

It sounds like 2 different issues are being discussed in this thread, though both have to do with the launcher. If you're getting the 'unable to move file' error, then perform the following steps to make sure you're running the game with admin access:

1. Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.5. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".6. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator"

If you're getting the unable to connect to network message then please open the exception list for your firewall and delete any entries that contain the words Everquest 2, EQ2, Launchpad, or Voiceservice. Then rerun the patcher(right click an run as administrator if using Windows 7 or Vista). Whenever prompted make sure to select 'allow'. That should refresh the firewall entries and will correct the problem in most cases. Let us know if the problem persists at that point.

For some reason I don't even have the option "Priveledge Level" under the "Compatibility" tab. Did everything else tho and seems to be working ok now thanks ONly issue I am having now is super bad lag in South Quenos and critical error messages whenever I go there but I'll post that on a new thread.
