Recieving "Feature Transfer Error" when installing EQ2 Sentinal's Fate

<p>When attempting to instal EQ2 Sentinal's Fate I recieved the following error. </p><p>Feature:  Everquest II</p><p>Component:  Common</p><p>File:  D:data2.cab</p><p>Error:  Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)</p><p>I have had EQ2 previously installed but it is not installed currently.  I double checked and there isn't even a Sony folder on this system.  I checked the control panel and there are no instances of EQ2 listed.  I am at a loss on how to continue.</p>

<p>I'm sort of having the same problem only I had EQ2 and all expansions installed, except for SF, and putting in the cd it wouldn't install so I decided to just completely reinstall using SF. Well now I'm getting this message too except mine is saying "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error"</p><p>*Edit* I tried my second dvdrom and now it's giving me the exact same error as you. Thinking I'll just reinstall SO and update that way since the patcher seems to be helping.</p>

<p>If you have the game already installed, then all you have to do is add the SF key to your account.  You can use the Link at the top of the right of these forums (My Account).  Once your key is registered to your account, the patcher will take care of the rest <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
