I logged in to update today and play, only to be met with YET ANOTHER station launcher issue. This thing gives me issues EVERY time there's a game update. Usually it's fixed by setting it to run as admin, but this time no dice.

Right as the game starts to update, I get an error stating:

"There was a problem confirming the checksum for the file C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverquest IIlp_temppaksexp02_rgn_realm_of_night_sg.vpk_delta _8783_4.patched.

Station launcher will try again after 5 seconds."

It does that over and over and fails every time.

I navigated to that folder only to find a few files with what seem to be expansion vpk files... I see one for vastydeep, one for odus north... but when it tries this particular file, it just fails to verify. I removed them from the folder and tried updating again.... once it gets to the same problematic file it fails.

What's the story here? What am I doing wrong?

I keep getting this too. Only mine is a different file.

"There was a problem confirming the checksum for the file C:Program Files (x86)SonyEverQuest IIlp_temppaksChar_B1.vpk_delta_8783_16.patched."

There is no such file in the folder so I'm at a loss.

I'm getting the same error for a different file, this one: "Everquest IIlp_temppakssolusekeye_sg.vpk_delta_8783_9.patche d".

I've tried to fix it by deleting the file's containing folder but it didn't work.

Tried running a full scan then the launcher started to update, strangely now the update stops and displays an error message pointing to a different file than the one I was getting. Besides, the update size is much bigger now (1.1 GB)
