Download keeps cancelling

<p>Hi,</p><p>My SF download keeps cancelling for some reason. I have the new SF launcher, and it does the usual file scan, starts to download then cancels itself!</p><p>Any ideas?</p>

<p>I was having the exact same problem.</p><p>I'm running Windows 7 and gave the program administraitor privledges, but the download kept cancelling. I then tried, just a guess, to run the game in compatability mode for Windows XP Sp3, and it seems to be downloading fine now.</p>

<p>same thing happening here...still have 3.6 gigs to patch...starting to tick me off...toke the day off to play and cant get thru the patching</p>

But it offers no working solution. The launchpad starts download then says download cancelled and restarts in an unending loop.</p>

<p>The same thing has been happening to me for some time now and no one at SOE seems to be in a hurry to give any answers. The download canceles but after about 4 or 5 tries it finally works. It usually takes me around an hour to sign in but with the new updates it took about 8 hours to go thru the whole cycle, then it hit an "unrecoverable error" when launching. I had to start the whole process over again and it looks like its gonna take another 6 or 8 hours this time too.</p>
