I know we all wont agree on the things id like to see Implemented, I know a Dev will likely not respond to say if even some of them could be considered (busy folks they are, and when they do take the time to respond usually some troll flames them poor fellas) - but here are some things *I* would love to see in eq2

yada yada I know there are things others will say they should address before these issues & you may be right but thats not the point of my list - so if you were going to take the time to reply with that save yourself the time and effort of posting because Im sure the same applies to you (You have more important things you could be addressing!)

1) An autoattack timer added too the default UI2) Quivers as Visable back items 3) The ability to pick the number of slots in a hotbar in the hotbar options window, not just resize it4) Marketplace Appearance items in the 500SC range for all weapon types not just 2hb (read bows, 1hers, ect EQ1 1.0 graphics for nostagia!)5) When clicking on a magical door the ability to travel to any GH that has marked you as a friend6) Shader 4.0 *Kidding*7) A long tedious Quest (even if it takes 20-40RL gaming hours to do - that offers a race change token as a reward for those folks who just cant spend the cash IRL to buy one The ability to /hide mount but keep its benefits9) A Collection quest for a 36+ slot harvesting bag for those alts/ players who dont do Tradeskills but still harvest for profit / to help others10) Hierloom items to not attune, and still be tradeable through the shared bank after your done with it to an alt11) an advance Targeting window (similar to the one added recently to classic EQ)12) A slider that allows a player to add more status to guild as earned at the expense of it not going to personal status13) A way to add sites to favorites on the /browser14) World Peace15) A way to Gift others with station cash items (option to have the bought item mailed to a Guildy)16) A Reason too use 2 Handers again, any reason Im not picky!

Well thats all I can think of for now, There are game mechanic issues I could add for most classes but this isnt that type of list and Im sure everyone is aware of those already

Safe Travels throughout norrath!

Nice list, replying to your one first before adding mine.

Kelicor@Kithicor wrote:

1) An autoattack timer added too the default UI

Agreed, not sure where this default one that people talk about is, I use the DragonWulfUI one, its actually about 12 lines of code you can read through.

Kelicor@Kithicor wrote:

2) Quivers as Visable back items

That would look cool, the whole backpack idea really aught to be put into the game since it makes people look like adventurers and adds to the immersion of the game for me.

Kelicor@Kithicor wrote:

3) The ability to pick the number of slots in a hotbar in the hotbar options window, not just resize it

Oddly enough I know what you mean, sometimes I have a small bit of the screen I wish I could put a 2 button bar into, but if we had that feature then it would be cool to be able to have more bars

Kelicor@Kithicor wrote:

10) Hierloom items to not attune, and still be tradeable through the shared bank after your done with it to an alt

Not interested in this myself, its generous enough to just be able to trade items around your characters I think.

Kelicor@Kithicor wrote:

12) A slider that allows a player to add more status to guild as earned at the expense of it not going to personal status

This sounds reasonable for guild management.

Kelicor@Kithicor wrote:

The ability to /hide mount but keep its benefits

Yes and no, I think we should have the option to be able to auto hide a mount when we enter combat or a raid instance that has mounts. Otherwise if you want to go real fast then you need to mount up, we have enough Benny Hill style running around already

An appearance slot for mounts is also a possible, I'm not too keen on this in some ways (as certain mounts are no longer faster then others which takes something away from the gameworld), it would also be a no go for me if it caused animation issues. The rest of your points I don't have a view on.

For me though I'd like to see

1) Mounts when riding them to auto tilt to the terrain.

2) Ability to sit down (its strange how this doesn't effect the gameplay but I want it from immersion/interaction point of view).

3) Graphical bugs removed, I know at least on Frogloks provisioners have a twisted stirring hand, and tailors have a distorted foot.

4) Fast respawning mobs in instances tuned well down to make things less grindy (thinking Mistmoore castle, unless thats really supposed to be them resurecting fast).

5) No quests that rely on the adventurer killing more of a mob then spawn in a whole zone (waiting on respawns is tedious and not immersive).

6) Some mobs in dungeons have an occassional hard % damage ability, this would prevent mindless farming of them and that means people have to think about how to play the instance and it lessens the desire for a AoE only tank class.

7) Slowly merging all the servers together into a shard style arrangement, far out, but EQ2 already has cross server instances (BG's), multiple instances based on load (Atonica1,Atonica2) so I believe its possible.

9) Open PVE/PVP areas where you can fight against other NPCs/players to alter how that zone is controlled (far out idea, but I'd like to see PVP and PVE blended like that), maybe even make it PVE only and have the success on one side cause more NPC's to attack the other - gameplay like 2 player tetris but in a world setting.

Its not for stat gear that I had in mind but you bring up a good point, I just wish world event appearance only attunable gear could be traded to another toon after we use it on one - maybe a different type of flag for appearance only gear then

My wish list is that a whole class (Rangers) is not left out of an entire gear progression (flurry) of an expansion. What in the world were they thinking when they added a whole new gear progression to the game and then left one class out of it entirely.

Wow is all I can say.
