Here's the situation. Color blob attacks my screen. It looks sorta like something draping a curtain over the screen. It's brown, red, or blue, but within that there are subtly different shades of the parent color, asymmetrically intersecting the screen - while I can see motion, there is nothing distinguishable. I've never seen an error message, the game has never "crashed", and the computer doesn't seem to act any differently. If I alt-tab for a sec the game returns to normal .. but only temporarily. It seems completely random as well. Sometimes I can play for a good hour with only one color blob attacking me, but then other times it repeatedly blobs again and again despite alt=tab.

Windows Vista

Core 2duo [email protected]

3078megs of ram

2x geforce 8800gts in SLI

Yes, I've downloaded the most recent drivers, I've even tried 3rd party drivers, older drivers then reinstalled the newest drivers again. I've installed EQ2, uninstalled and reinstalled. Ive playing in SLI mode and not in SLI mode. I've turned all the video card options off, then back on, one at a time. And tinkered with EQ2;s graphic settings.

The blobbing colors always come again, relentless in their assaults!

Help please.

Has anyone experienced, then resolved, something similar?
