I have reviewed a Kb article indication that if the launcher is update it may change the default

locations of your installations and produce a second directory with eQ2 installed.

However, that doesn't seem to help me.

When I start the launcher, under "games" it shows EQ2 AND EQ2 (EN) whatever that is.

And it wants to make a new directory for it. I have tried changing the default installation path for both

versions of EQ2 to the same location, but that leaves the question of why it is so confused.

Thanks for any help.

More information. The situation is dire.

When I start the launcher, and click games, I see

Everquest II

Everquest II (EN)

Pirates of the Burning Sea (EN)

If I click either version of Eq2, then click characters (below) I see all my characters. HOWEVER---

Whichever EQ2 I click on, when the game launches it asks me to create a new character to start!

Help.

Problem apparently solved.

1. uninstalled station launcher using the control panel -> programs

2. downloaded a fresh version (googled "sony station launcher download")

3. when the launcher finished installing and ran, choose "use existing account".

4. logged in and ran eq2.
