Monk and Bruiser, who is offensive in SF

<p>I am currently betraying to freeport on my server and am faced with the chance to change classes.  I used to be a monk and changed to a bruiser a while back, and I dont feel as though I never got intot he groove of bruiser and my DPS wasnt that great. So I can switch, but with SF coming I know AA's are changing, and when i try to DL the test server it keeps bugging.  So i come to ask, I have no interest whatsoever in tanking, which  class will offer the better DPS/Utinlity with the new expansion? Monk or Bruiser? Thanks a bunch!</p>

<p>Bruiser are more of a burst DPS (my favorite is Knockout combo+chi), but we're not say as good as a swashy/brig for damage.</p><p>We're tanks,first and foremost from the changes that I've seen..</p>

<p>If the crit consolidation allows manhandle's damage portion and our offensive stance proc the chance to actually crit will be a slight up in bruiser dps.</p>

<p>Bruiser is the better class right now dps wise and utility wise.  Tanking is a wash.</p>

<p>Depending on the fights bruiser is better on dps, vs high con npcs w bad hit rates bruisers do not have strikethrough which makes the most difference on raids. We are talking about a 10% difference in hit rates on some fights.  If you are talking about heroic and solo content yes bruisers are better dps. Tanking monks are much better in SF.</p>
