I had loads of fun with the third assistant researcher's book and the decoding of the clues scattered around the fansites.

(See here if you don't know what I'm talking about: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=469482 )

So much fun, in fact, that I just had to illustrate our mysterious imprisoned lore-benifactor.

I plan on placing a copy of the circle on the left hand side and turning it into a proper backround, but after 5 hours my hand is cramped and so, I'll finish it tomorrow and post that version here.

Originaly I had him facing the papers when I first sketched him, but he turned his head when he heard a guard coming,

I guess.

I had some trouble with the rings, so I couldn't do the fancy pretty thing with them that I had planned, but here

is the finished wallpaper. (1680X1050) I was going to pattern the border after the shimmery Erudite tattoos,

but instead went with the pattern I put on his sleeve.

Feel free to use this as a wallpaper ONLY. Please do not alter or upload elsewhere without permission.

This is probably the first new-school Erudite fan art I've ever seen. And I must say it's pretty awesome!

Hey this is really nice! Nice lighting and composition plus it tells a story. I want to know what's happened to him and what is about to happen. Well done!
