I reinstalled EQ2 and decided to give the streaming client a trial. It worked very nicely for a couple of days but now everytime I want to enter a new zone it stops at 99% of loading zone resources. If I disconnect and re-launch the game, and then it goes through OK. I'm using Win 7 Ultimate and I already gave EQ2 Admin privileges.

Thanks

David

Im sorry but the real issue here is distributing the streaming client instead of the launchpad, for every player that comes here posting help about it another just said forget EQ2.

I am having a similar problem. Everytime I try to login I get past the character select and all the way to where it is

"Loading entity resources"

where I get to as much as 12% and then it just stops, sits there it that percentage and goes no further. I've tried several times. The first time when I tried to log in again after it had stopped loading it said I couldn't because I already had a character in the game. I've let it sit for awhile at that percentage and once it stops it never continues. I had it get to 2% 12% 8% etc. but never been able to get past it.

Help.

I am using the streaming launcher but heres an update...

I went back and decided to try a different character. When I did I got as far as 100% on the loading entities and I could hear sounds both from the zone I was loading into and the character select zone but then it just sat there and 100%. So I killed the program yet again and tried logging in again. I tried loading that same character and I was finally able to get in. I then logged out of that character and tried the original character I had been trying to log in with. That character was also finally able to log in. So I don't know whats going on but after about 9 tries and 2 different characters I am finally in the game.

I had the same issue as the OP and had to constantly force quit and restart the game. Even though I finally did manage to get into the game it eventually froze on me again while streaming (I have 2Mb/s ADSL connection). As a returning player, I was on the verge of giving up on the game again and cancelling my subscription. Luckily, the Station Launcher did solve all of those issues and I'm finally able to get back into the game
