I am trying to install EQ2 on my computer, its been about 2 yrs since I played last, and I have a nice shiny new computer to put it on now. This computer has Vista. I got the lp_plugin.exe has stopped working message when I first logged in and started to DL the patches. So I did the recommended updates, and it kept giving that message. But it also kept acting like it was DLing, but it never *stuck*. So I remembered the Run as Administrator trick and tried that. No more message, but its still constant downloads, constant cancellations of said downloads and no real progress. Tried the trick to set the compatibility tab as listed in a post above, and its still cancelling the download. HALPS!
