While I realize that the Armor is "still being adjusted" I just wanted to chime in to make sure it is because it is more than a little off as it is now. I am a plate healer so I looked at it from that perspective but I think this applies across all the sets. Now I read that y'all were trying to not lock classes in to one set of raid armor but to have that armor useable by more classes to allow more options.

It seems you tried to do this by making 3 plate armor sets. One for tanking, one for dps, and one for healing. The problem with that though is there is no +Str on the healer set and no +Wis on the other two. With the mechanics change only Wis affects my spells and CAs. So if I wanted to wear the "dps" set I would lose roughly 450 of the primary set that affects my ability to deal damage. I can't see ever wearing it. So instead of 3 plate sets what we have is 1 plate healer set and two options for plate fighters.

If you are going to bother putting Templar/Inquisitor on the other plate sets can you put some wisdom on them so it is actually a viable option? Str on the heal set for SK/Pally too? What's the point in giving us more options if they are not in fact options? Since Str will ce all but worthless to plate heales with the mechanics change I don't think this would unbalance the sets.

I don't understand the problem heh. You said there is no +str on the healer set.... But why would you want str now as a healer?

Str on the Healer set so it can be useful to other plate wearers such as SK or Pally. Since Str is of no use to clerics it should not unbalance the set to put it on.

The point is with the consolidation of stat requirements instead of making more choices they made less with these sets.

Healers get all their oomph from wisdom, combat and healing. Fighters from strength, Scouts from agility and Mages from Intelligence.

A set that has only wisdom is good only for healers basically, if there is no strength, then no need for fighters, including Crusaders, to look at it. The same goes for the other sets that do not have wisdom and only strength, why would a Cleric even care to look at those?

So for a Fury, they would want leather with wisdom on it, no need to worry much about either strength or intelligence anymore, where before the expansion these stats would be important to them.

But why take away our options? Why give us the hybrid T3 set in woe? I like having the option of putting on my dps gear if I don't need to go all out on heals. The said they were making it so more raid gear would be useable by more classes. I like that idea. But if that is what they are going for they are missing the mark. If all the raid tanks have the raid tank piece maybe I could find a time where it would be useful to me. What reason is there not to have that option? Can't find a tank to run zones? Well let me switch this gear and let the templar tank. Sure it won't be nearly as good but is better than sittin in the guildhall. I've had furies tank the Crucible, what's wrong with options? Especially if putting the stat on the armor makes no meaningful change to it except that one of the classes meant to wear the armor might actually wear it. Otherwise just take that class off from being able to use it.

Crusaders will still benefit from a Heal set with pure Wis as the Wis boosts their resists you are getting a heal/tank hybrid set. The con is that you loose some power and DPS.

As to if that con is worth the pro of the higher resists and +heal stuff is your call to make.
