Unable to communicate directly with plugin

<p>Whenever I try to do an install from the new launcher I downloaded off the webpage I get this error.  I'm a returning player, so I have some of the files necessary to run the game.  However, I tried running the launcher on a computer with NO EQ2 files at all and on a computer with some existing files.  Either way, the laucher gives me the same error.</p><p>Any ideas?</p>

<p>I'm having this problem, too. Yesterday my girlfriend had it, and I ended up uninstalling the game. Yesterday I had installed it without a problem and was able to run the game. Today I'm getting this message.</p>

<p>I am having this exact error. I am a returning player and wanted to give the game another shot on my neew computer but cannot download the game due to the "unable to communicate directly with plugin" error.</p><p>please help</p>

<p>I'm just gonna jump on the bandwagon and say I'm having this problem too.  It kind of ticks me off because I already reactivated my account... and it's just not letting me download the game.</p>
