<p> Not sure if this belongs in test forum or tradeskills forum...</p><p>Presently I have a transmuter around 250 skill with a decent stockpile of various transmuting components and I'm trying to decide if I'd be better off burning through those now to try to get my transmuting as high as I can before the expansion/patch changes how things work, or if I should hold on to them so I can possibly make useful items with them but probably get less skillups overall.</p><p>I know some of the gameplay changes for the expansion/patch are now on test, but I don't have a transmuter on test (and I've got all my slots filled there so I'd have to delete a character to charcopy to test) so I can't see how it is working for myself over there. What I'd like to know to help me make this decision is how progression is for the new split skills vs the current skillup rate - is it about the same for each, or is it a bit quicker since they are now split, or is it counterintuitive and slower skillups for both new skills?</p><p>Thanks.</p>
