Since we have no update notes here's what to look for and note after logging in to test after update last week:

AA's were partially or completely reset, buffs stripped - don't forget to look over each AA as some have changed, some vanished and some got bumped up to 10 ranks, don'f forget to put on all buffs back, including things like glide, harvesting tools, moppet illusion etc.

persona window - stats and resists got an overhaul, look over each stat as what they do for each class has changed, resists got converted and merged

Battleground interface - Alt S is a toggle to turn on BG window and also to turn it off, it does not have an x to close it, nor escape works on it

druid and wizard portals got new option to go to Sundered Frontier - not working yet of course, until expansion launches

Quest journal and quest helper windows - quest window got changed, each quest has a check field by it that allows you to mark which quests you want quest helper to show, check it to stick the quest to your quest helper window ( the mini quest thingie in upper corner), all new quests you take from now on will get automatically stickied to your quest helper, each quest in helper also has a check field in upper right corner by its name to allow you to manually unstick it if you wish to not keep track of that quest at the moment. Up to 10 quests can be stickied in quest helper at the same time

Butcherblock and Kaladim were slightly revamped to streamline the character progression, including moving around NPC's, new and old quests, new griffon paths (gorowyn griffon moved to docks and includes flight to Darklight Woods), Kaladim got a huge level change, mobs are now in the 30's instead of 60's

Kingdom Of Sky got changed to be more solo friendly, some mobs were demoted from heroic to solo, new quests added starting in Tenebrous Tangle and Barren Sky

Sinking Sands got a slight art change around Living Tombs entrance

new guild hall amenity : wizard hireling which casts a portal that includes all sorcerer port destinations, this does not include KoS zones, KoS spire amenity remains separate and unchanged. Also a new amenity Guild Standard bearer who sells standards that grant a zone wide buffs and improvements, usable in instances, aimed at high level groups/raids

Big change to transmuting - it is now a skill that every character old and new is given at "birth" and is used to break down things to create materials used to make adornments, the skill starts at 3 and has to be levelled by breaking down things like it used to work, except now it still works past 100 and all the way to your maximum, maximum skill you can achieve is limited to your adventure or tradeskill level like other harvesting skills

the skill of creating adornments is now called adorning, it has to be trained by talking to adorning trainer on Butcherblock dock or in Kelethin and can be levelled up point by point by creating adornments, maximum skill you can achieve is still limited by your adventure or tradeskill level

the good news is that anyone can now train BOTH tinkering AND adorning on the same character, it doesn't have to be a choice, you can have BOTH

Players with custom UI's, whole or just bits and pieces, will notice some of the elements are not working: mainly AA window, quest journal, quest helper. Disable those or switch to default UI until updates for them are available

and since NDA is lifted here's a little tidbit that will be coming to norrath soon enough: "new recipes that allow adorners to convert transmuting components into higher quality ones of the same level range." so save those hoarded powders and fragments, they might just be still useful

Since Halas has been Delayed on Live does that mean it will be coming to test with the update?

I was running around through Thundering Steppes and noticed that the antelope weren't attackable. Also it seemed like some of the gnolls that were heroic had been changed to solo.

You got a few I didn't see Chikkin!

Couple more things I've noticed - seems to be a time limit on AFK time now, haven't timed it but being knocked to character select has happened to me a couple times now. Mage pets don't die when their owner does - they need rebuffing as any other single buffs on players.

there is currently a bug with houses and guild halls crashing and sending folks to character select when you place or move some items, I suspect this was the cause of your character select trips while afk ( if you afk'ed in hall)

I believe it was somewhere in the beta notes that it is intended for instanced zones to now close after a certain amount of time of inactivity. If you AFK in your house or guild hall, or other instanced zone, it will close after awhile and send you to character select now.

We had hoped that it would not send you to Character Select, but instead to the 'parent' zone. WIll have to look for that thread and see if it was updated.
