Ranger Vs Devs

<p>Having played since Nov 2005 had an enormous amount of fun in eq2 t6 days and Kos i've given up on any hope for the ranger class.</p><p>Sure they'll always be those guys who think yeah the class is ok.. or we're doing alright no big deal the class has many issues that have been ignored and will continue to be ignored. Alot of the rangers i once knew are now playing other classes. </p><p>Gaige / saf said you have 2 choice quit or betray.</p><p>I'm quiting and i hope every other ranger does until this excuse of a fix for ranges is sorted out.  why pay and play for a class you've played for 4+ years to just get ignored and now not really feasibly be able to raid top end as no one wants a ranger. </p><p>Take care, and thankyou for trying on betta forums and thanks for nothing SOE devs..</p>

<p>This is going to so turn into the CAN I HAVE YOUR STUFF? thread but...</p> <p>I'm out too.</p> <p>What makes me so mad is the fact that the ranger community is so powerful in this game and not even the biggest in ranger names are willing to quit based on some trivial fact that at this time there is nothing better out there in MMOs so they will continue to play this game and continue to perpetuate it's broken mechanics instead. </p> <p>Hypocrites, all of you.  Foaming at the mouth while screaming at SOE telling them what we need to be viable in this game, and albeit your cries fall on deaf ears, instead of <span> </span>choosing to turn away and show them your resolve you choose to keep running back to them.  Throwing your money (or your mom's money w/e) at developers that don't care about what you or your community thinks.  Your only justification to continue playing being the fact that you have over 2000, 4000, 8000 hours logged into this game and you can't just "walk away" from it.</p> <p>Shame on you for inciting people to speak up as you shy away into the night waiting and hoping that the next MMO release will be the reason you quit EQ2 forever.  Screw everyone else if they want to be whiney babies and quit!  Gaige you are no better than Crabbok.  Always faulting him because he has such a positive attitude about this game.  Well at least he doesn't complain about everything that is SOE/EQ2 and CONTINUE TO PAY/PLAY IT!</p> <p>Money talks people.  You have to decide if playing a broken game is what you want to spend your money on.  Brenlo and his team will be finished if SOE management sees a revenue spike decline.  Maybe it won't be in a month maybe it won't be in 3 months.  But month after month if the Kiara's and the Brenlos of EQ2 don't create a game that is appealing to all then someone in management will have to make a decision on what the fate of this game will be. </p> <p>Hearing that you guys nearly created ONE THOUSAND threads to combat the devs in their never ending quest to ensure rangers are broken and will continue to stay that way made me realize that I can no longer justify giving SOE money for ruining the class that makes me want to play this game.  I just hope the people that helped create and perpetuate those threads read this and decide to walk away as well.</p> <p>I'd end on some corny note saying rangers of EQ2 unite!  But I know some of you just don't have the resolve to give up your gaming habit.  And while I might pity you I will not have an empathy for you as it's the people like you that continue to pay/play and allow SOE the opportunity to continue their path of destruction.</p> <p>I know it's not just the ranger class.  I know there are other classes out there feeling betrayed from the people that are supposed to be giving them good game experiences.  I'm sure they might even feel inclined to believe that they are getting it worse than rangers or another class.  All I can say to them is quit as well.  SOE knows it has a HUGE fan base (revenue pit to perpetuate other games) to lose here if we stand up and say no more.</p> <p>w/e...it's not like it really matters anyway.  I probably just got this thread locked/deleted for SOE bashing or some other infraction that I'm not aware of.  Here's to hoping your game play experiences are dull and boring and that your grinding gets you no where fast!</p><p>EDIT:</p><p>I just thought about the whole I got this thread locked deleted comment that I made.  Srsly I don't know [Removed for Content] I was thinking.  I mean it's not like the dev's even come to this forum anymore.  Hell I haven't been in this forum for what at least feels like 6 months or more!</p><p>lol...kiara's gonna lock this thread...w/e she's got to find here first! =P</p>

<p>Account is paid up through July. But I will not be using my preorder for sure. Going to see if I can learn to enjoy my other toons in the meantime. I tried it before but back then I had not totally given up on my Ranger.</p>
