New epics in SF?

<p>I'm pretty sure they mean 'epic' as in grandiose in scale, time consuming and hard work -- not a new weapon type like they did in RoK.  How folks started associating the term 'epic' with a class weapon has always confused me, even in EQ1.  Sure the quests were all those things I mentioned a couple sentences ago, but 'epic' is an adjective, not a noun...</p><p>There's already a number of posts on the fate of our current mythicals and fabled quest weapons.  I guess they might be gone the way of a custom spell you quest for at the higher levels that gives the same ability of our mythical weapons, but in the form of an 'until cancelled' spell.  Quite a good way to handle it, personally.</p><p>--<( <strong>Daggers Malone</strong> )>--</p>

<p>I can't view that link, but hasn't 'epic quest' always been the tag on a quest in your journal that ends with a raid kill?</p>

<p>There will be no Epic 2.0 quests in SF the Devs have been clear about that sence SF was anounced at Fan Faire last year. They have been looking at ways to allow you to stop using the Epic without losing the parts that make it superior to pritty much all other weopons(even most/all of those in the new expainsion) but I don't believe they have anounced how that would work yet.</p>
