Does anyone know whether Everquest 2 will run on a Macbook pro (even on high performance setting)? It has 2 gigs of memory, and I believe 2.4 GHz (it might be 1.4, not sure) processor but no idea on the graphics card.

It runs WoW on High Quality, but that's not saying much.

If you want to run eq2 on a MAC you need to install Apple's bootcamp and a copy of windows 7. As far as performance goes, it depends on what hardware configuration you have, especially the video section. If it is the built in intel gma chipset you might be able to get by at the lowest possible settings for the game, but that is not a certainty.

The newer Macbooks may run it better than the older GMA chipset ones since they have the Nvidia video not just the intel. That is assuming that you are running windows on it in some fashion natively (not VMware or Parallels).
