Very cool. Ustream is a pretty awesome utility to promote and share.

Powers wrote:

What is Ustream?

It's a service that allows people to make their own channels for streaming video 'netcasts. It works very well, and is integrated with Twitter (and has a chat client too). SOE Community has had several events on UStream, including last year's Block Party.

Unfortunately the recording function had to be turned off cause it was eating the computer

Lets just say that it started off about as smooth as a really bumpy road that has been resurfaced in about 50 years

It got better as it went on though and the chat that went along side it made things bare-able. Not to mention naughty Kiara with her phone causing trouble all the time

Sort of thing that is worth tuning into if you can when it is being run, even if it was 1 in the morning (GMT).

Rough start yeah, but it was cool to see a public tour like that. I hope there are more in the future!

Yes, there will be another Ustream even the morning of the 16th while the servers are down!

Some devs might even stop by to chat. Fortunately, Brenlo won't be yelling at me to text him zone strings

Much easier to wake up to watch it than explain to your boss why you need to watch it instead of working

(Thus is the fate of those in Pacific time zone, we miss a lot of the Live stuff that's done during SOE's work hours, no matter if as close to the end of that business day..)

I think he should find somebody who has a pet hamster, then bring it in, and pretend to be 'upgrading' the wheel - then show how well fed and how many treats the hamster gets for a good day's work.
