Originally I know it was planed (as per all Live events) to have the current Live event to cycle out when the next GU came out. However as Brenlo has just recently commented, the Halas content update has been delayed until the GU after SF comes out.

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=468407

With that in mind, is the current Live going to remain active until Halas comes out? I'm trying to figure out if my AA capped characters have to do these quest chains now (before the SF release) or if I can wait until I can actually get some kind of AA benefit for doing them later on.

I sincerely doubt it will be extended. Since its a world event setting up expansion stuff.I would say you would be best getting the quest lines done now.

Will of a Tyrant is part of the live World event series quests that began with the Quelithulian Spires rebuilding and ends with the expansion SF. The Live series leads up to the end of the Void era into the new era of Odus.

Each expac has a live event(s) just before as a method of introducing the new and ending the old. I highly suggest if you want your capped AA characters to obtain both replicas of Soulfire and Claymore - you need to working on it now.

The Overlord story line is a prelude event leading up to the expansion.

As such, with the update that activates the expansion, it should end.

Brain is blank, what quest are we talking about?

In WFP it starts by chatting with Sir Tallen Yevix in front of the destroyed Tower for the replica of Soulfire reward

Additional quests Tinmizer's Magnificent Messenger and Into the Citadel

In Q, it starts by chatting with Librarian Brinn in Fish's Alehouse in QH for the replica of Claymore reward

Additional quests A Lost Library Book, Overdue Letters and Eternal Revenge

Any alignment (evil or good) can complete both at any level. However, the lower the level you are, the more creative you need to be in order to complete the quests.

I so hope this stupid event will end soon. Being kicked over by guards in your hometown is no fun at all! Especially if it happens for weeks, like this 'event'.

Just a heads up, the FP event isn't working after the E-day stuff was patched in (at least it isn't for me).

Running around doing the Eday quests with my characters I discovered I'd missed this quest on one of them. Yevix will give her the quest but the items you are supposed to pick up aren't there to be collected.
