View Full Version : Fresh Install.. (what can I migrate over?)

<p>hmmm my HDD is swiming with the fishies right now.. so i have to re-install all my software including EQ2.  Is there a list of the files I could safely migrate  / copy over after a fresh installation from disks?</p><p>MIES</p>

<p>If you experience any issues after copying the whole directory then I would advise removing the following files from your game directory:</p><p>cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.ini</p><p>Those will contain some information that is specific to your computer.  If the hardware has changed dramatically with your new computer then it is a good idea to download new versions of those files.</p>
