Has anyone tried to run EQ2 using 'Intel HD Graphics' intergrated graphics on a i3 CPU

<p>I want to build a new system and have decided the best price-point for me at the moment is a Intel i3 CPU, they seem to be better overall value compared to the slightly more expensive i5s according to what I have read.</p><p>Anyway, I noticed that the chips came with integrated graphics. Has anyone tried to run EQ2 with these chips, if so what was the performance like. It would only be a temporary solution when I get a proper video card but I am curious if this is even viable at low resolutions like 1280x1024 etc.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>While an integrated chip may work as a temporary solution, I couldn't guarantee that the game would be playable with one, even at lower quality levels.  The game really wasn't designed with an integrated graphics chip in mind.  If was an older chip then I wouldn't even consider it, but the more recent ones may be able to play the game at a very basic level.</p>
