You may be experiencing the same problem described in this topic from General Support. Hopefully the workaround works for you as well.

Nope, didn't work.

I'm trying to run off EverQuest2.exe. Station Launcher wants to do a 6 hr down load. I'm certainly not going to redownload the client after each patch.

Sounds like it is trying to download a fresh copy of the game

Well, the "patcher" has apparently been superseded by the launcher, at least in the case of the Streaming Client, so you'll likely need to use some version of it to patch. I agree with Wingrider01 that it sounds like the launcher you are using doesn't know where to find your game data.

Try navigating to the main EQII directory (where EverQuest2.exe is located) using Windows Explorer, and run Launcher.exe from there, if it exists. If not, and you're using the all-in-one Station Launcher (the one designed for Station Pass members to launch any of the MMORPGs), you'll have to either download the streaming launcher separately or configure the Station Pass launcher to know where to find the full game files (even if it knows how to launch the client, that does not necessarily mean it is configured to look for the rest of the data in the same directory).

The former might be a little tricky, but I suggest downloading the web installer (don't worry, it's small), and telling it to install in the same directory your current copy of the EQII is in, but make sure you back up your EQII configuration files first. If you're lucky, the installer will recognize that the files are already downloaded, and simply fill in anything that's missing (you still would have to run the launcher to patch, though). If you're unlucky, it will try to re-install everything, which although bad, is no worse than the situation you're in right now

I have no idea how tricky the latter option of configuring the Station Pass launcher would be, as it's been quite some time since I've had the luxury of a Station Pass, and the launcher was just taking its first post-beta baby steps when I last used it. Sorry; hopefully someone else can provide details for this, or info on if it's even possible.

Good luck!

All it seems to be is that the International servers aren't up yet. I get that message when I try to log there (game build 6218) but not if I log to the Test (build 6240) or American (build 6243) servers.
