My alt is level 79 now.

I have set slider to 100% combat experience conversion to AA.

An now just one killed non-heroic mob drains 0.6% of adventure vitality. One-arrow heroic kill costs 1.2%.

And these kills give virtually no AA gain.

Setting slider to zero conversion reduces drain by four times (0.4% for one-arrow heroic).

Is this intended or a bug?

That means u have to kill 9 one arrow up heroic to get another AA percentage.

The higher up the ladder you go in AAs, the longer it takes to get one AA. Same with adventure XP. And same with tradeskilling. And the hits on vitality keep on going until you cap.

I am not sure that Celest understood what you were saying.

Before the adjustment to xp gain above level 50 you could for the most part kill all day long and still not reach zero vitality. After the adjustment I can burn through it in a few hours and this is on a defiler who by no means kills anything very fast.

If this change was to entice us to buy vitality potions it probably wont work with what SOE is charging for them, all it did on my end was [Removed for Content] me off.

I tried a test with a level 61 character killing level 62 mobs , and was using up about 0.3% vitality per kill with no conversion and also with 100% conversion. So it certainly isn't always bugged in that way.

I have a vague recollection that vitality is a bit wonky anyway if you have enough vitality to take you up to the maximum level ,so it might be related to that , and possibly just be a display issue.

I'm not 100% sure on that ,and may be getting confused with another game , but I think vitality has always been a bit odd at level 79.

I remember dual boxing alts both at level 72 and with 100% vitality... they completed all the same kills and quests and by the end of the session the XP one had 67% rested and the AA one had 35% rested.

There is definitely something weird with it. Maybe it is just strange at some levels like some have stated?

If it takes a 10,000 to level XP it takes 1,000,000 to level AA. This is on purpose so you will play longer. Especially since AA is really what makes a character potent.

It's actually 325 to 1. That's an official number from somewhere, I just can't place my finger on the source atm.

The best way to level AA is to do quests, since those reward actual AA XP separately. Killing named mobs which have a color also gives decent AA gain, once again because it isn't a conversion, it's an actual amount.
