No they don't. It is just that we have so few taunts and some classes produce so much hate through DPS that they take agro. Mostly this is the fault of a scout or wizard not watching their DPS but it is also the fault of the Monk. We get very few taunts and have to use them everytime they are up. Also we cannot be completely defense oriented in gear as we have to maximize DPS agro.

Use Peel and rescue sometimes both to pull agro back

I was really hoping the agression mechanic from the original fighter revamp would of came this expansion.Where aggression eventually made taunts unresistable.

Monks (and bruisers) are so different then other fighters that at the least it should have been a plate fighter (mitigation tank) revamp and a seperatwe leather fighter (avoidence tank) revamp.

With the way mechanics have turned out, the way to get aggro was by DPS, and that mainly came in offensive stance. Plate fighters with their high mitigation could tank in offensive stance, however, versus any kind of tough mob leather tanks cannot since most of what they need to tank with, avoidence, especially uncontested avoidence, comes in defensive stance. Thus leather fighters, since they tank in a different style than plate tanks, need a different "fighter revamp" than plate tanks.

So long as the Devs realise that brawlers are really their own seperate archtype, and realise that the same revamp will not work the same way for them as for plate tanks, they will be much more able to make things work the way they want them to. Saving effort by trying to make one solution to so different types of fighters will be difficult to impossible since they are so very different. So if the Devs are smart, they will realise that they will actually save time by deciding beforehand to do two seperate revamps rather than trying vainly for 'equality' by trying to do the same thing for two essentially separate archtypes who, while they may do the same job, do it so very differently.

Example, if they decide to increase the taunt of taunts, there is no reason to use the same numbers for brawlers that they do for plate tanks. Instead of say increasing them for all fighters by x%, it would be smarter to increase them differently for plate and leather types, and even better, do it seperatly fighter class by fighter class, since some plate tanks also have different ways they hold aggro from each other. Making them "balanced" by using the same numbers to "revamp" classes so very different from each other will in the end make them unbalanced, and take more work, especially after the unintended consiquences turn up, as they will and have.

In short, think "mitigation tank revamp + avoidence tank revamp" instead of "fighter revamp" and you will save yourself a lot of headaches and be much closer to a solution.

I don't think my question was really answered.

I get RESISTED more often on taunts than either of my paladins. I am not talking about having two taunts. I am talking about the rate of resists when you USE them.
