From the beginning?

<p>I recently got married and my wife has started playing and got me to thinking more about the Lore/Story line of EQ2.</p><p>Is there a good place we can go to read the story/lore - basically from the time the moon exploded - the isle of refuge - Qeynos became the home for all good, Freeport all bad...</p><p>But what's next?  Where do we go from there?  Anyone know of any good places?</p><p>Preferably something that connects all the addons and expansions...</p><p>Thanks so much!</p>

<p>Each expantion has a "Prismatic Weapon" of sorts each one reveals clues about the goings on of norrath. Some are easier to find then others but using EQ2 Wiki can get you started on where to find the quests as well as the appropriate level you'll be able to start them on.</p>

<p>I think the mains lines go as such:</p><p>Prismatic (original)</p><p>(splitpaw and bloodlines fit in here, but not "major" lore TMK)</p><p>Peakcock line/Courts line (DoF, not sure which is the main)</p><p>Claymore line (Kos)</p><p>(Fallen Dynasty timeline kinda has important stuff but not a main)</p><p>Sword of Destiny (Eof)</p><p>???(Kunark raid lines i think replace a story line?)</p><p>The Shadow Odyssey (Tso obviously <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> quest is found around 80 at freeport or qyenos dock depending on faction)</p><p>Anyone who has done all these please correct me if I'm wrong<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>Kunark is called The Fate of Norrath.</p><p>Most raiders would probably say it was a big letdown because it didn't result in a weapon or armor for a reward like the others do.</p><p>Anyways, I don't have the link right now, but look up the Lore Atheneum website for all the in-game books and stuff.</p><p>It doesn't cover everything you may be wanting to learn, but it does cover everything written in text in the game.</p><p>A lot of the background you're seeking from the topic post is gained through the forums here and through just all around exploration and personally experiencing things as you play.</p>
